How much do lingual braces cost?
Braces behind the teeth offer the unique advantage of complete invisibility unlike traditional braces and clear aligners like Invisalign.
Very few orthodontists in North America have made the commitment to refine the skills required to successfully treat patients with lingual braces. This additional knowledge can take the orthodontic team years to hone and acquire. In addition, lingual braces are more expensive to design and fabricate since they are uniquely made to fit your teeth, and no one else’s. It is therefore no surprise that braces behind the teeth cost a little more than traditional braces.
Our office is one of only a handful of orthodontic offices across the country to have extensive experience in lingual orthodontics. Our team is uniquely qualified to discuss with you whether lingual or invisible braces are right for you. We can discuss these options at your initial complimentary appointment which will include an examination as well as a presentation of your treatment options and their associated costs.
What Payment Options are there for Lingual Braces?
We offer in-house financing. The process is easy and straightforward.
We first bill your insurance directly and the remainder will be distributed across a records fee for diagnostic purposes (this includes photos, x-rays, and 3D models), a one-time down-payment due at the time we begin orthodontic treatment, and monthly payments on a day of your choice.
We have found that this method of billing makes treatment accessible and affordable for many of our patients.
We also work with Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).
Finally, we offer discounts to patients who pay for their entire treatment prior to or on the day of braces application, so be sure to ask us at your complimentary initial consultation if that is an option you are interested in.
Cost of Treatment Can Vary
Every patient presents with a unique set of circumstances and conditions.
Some patients present with severely misaligned teeth while others present with excessive overbite. These are just two of many factors that could play a role in how long and how extensive your treatment with lingual or invisible braces will be.
In addition, we pride ourselves on using the right tool for the right job. This means that often times, a combination of clear aligners like Invisalign and braces behind the teeth are most efficient in treating complex orthodontic problems.
All these factors put together will determine the cost of your orthodontic treatment.
Insurance Covers Lingual Invisible Braces!
